I’m Mercedes, founder and curator of Gaia Experiences. Originally from Mexico City, my connection to nature has always guided me—but it was in Tulum where that connection found its true expression.

After years of exploring the Yucatan Peninsula´s hidden landscapes, I felt called to create something more intentional: experiences that go beyond the surface and reveal the true spirit of this place.

Having spent 17 years living in Tulum and more than a decade guiding as a naturalist, I’ve developed a close relationship with this land and its communities. Each experience is thoughtfully designed to reflect that connection.

Gaia Experiences was born to bring together natural beauty, local culture, and a sense of discovery in a way that feels both effortless and deeply enriching.
